Ultracrepidarianism (n.)
The tendency to give opinions on matters outside your area of knowledge. If you said, "John Mayer is terrible," you would not be guilty of ultracrepidarianism. But if you said, "John Mayer is terrible because he always uses the dominant minor thirteenth chords," you would be sadly guilty of ultracrepidarianism. Although we agree that John Mayer is terrible because he is egocentric and quite creepy, we cannot agree with something made up like that.
