Proselytize (v.)
To spread the word for and try to convert others, especially in religion. Basically, a crusader for a cause, but not a Caped Crusader or a Richard the Lionheart Crusader. More like a lobbyist crusader. But in a good way, if you're doing it. If not, in a bad way.
