Ostriches do not eat well
An ostrich died at the London Zoo in 1942. This is what they found in its stomach:
Contents: a lace handkerchief, a buttoned glove, a length of rope, a plain handkerchief (probably a man's), assorted copper coins, metal tacks, staples and hooks, and a four-inch nail. The nail, they concluded, was probably the cause of its death.
