A railing or low wall around a roof to prevent people from falling over or an embankment protecting soldiers from enemy gunfire. NOT something that goes in place of a house pet.

RIP B.B. King
B.B. King died last Thursday night at the age of 89. He was a legendary blues guitarist and a master showman, performing all the way into his late 80s. Here's a couple clips of King, one with Buddy Guy and one from about twenty years ago performing his signature song, "The Thrill Is Gone."
For anyone who's interested, Rolling Stone compiled a list of some of King's best live performances. It's well worth a look.
