Stephen Colbert interviews Vice President Joe Biden
Sometimes you get the timing wrong, sometimes you get it right.
I had planned to feature Stephen Colbert on a day last week in honor of his Late Show premiering. I had a gif picked out and everything. However, with it being Labor Day weekend, I completely lost track of the date and missed it. D'oh.
However, if I had run something about Colbert earlier in the week, I would've been less likely to run something else from his show like his incredible interview with Vice President Joe Biden about loss, suffering, and faith:

This is such an honest, beautiful conversation between two people who have experienced deep loss that it's amazing it happened in front of a studio audience for national TV. Colbert is a terrific interviewer in general but this is some fine work. And special thanks to the Vice President for being so candid in front of the cameras.
