Word of the Day

Fallow (adj./n./v., FAL-oh)

Plowed and left unseeded, characterized by inactivity, or the act of doing this or the land that this is done to. Land is often left fallow to prepare it for future results, so it's not entirely inactive. This fallow land is plowed by fellows for what follows.

The I of It

Let's review why this game is wonderful:

1. It involves a letter that expands and contracts. English!
2. It features a British narrator.
3. The narrator has a wry sense of humor.
4. There's decent minigames within the game.
5. The difficulty and length perfectly matches the tone of the game.

This game always makes me smile. I don't always play the whole thing but I always make sure I get one specific narrator reaction before quitting (I'll let you figure out which one). It's light and whimsical. And that's splendid.

There's one more game in the Happy Friday section but here's some of our honorable mentions:

1. Musaic Box
2. The Fancy Pants Adventure
3. Nitrome Must Die
4. Learn to Fly
