It's officially winter now, even if the weather isn't quite there yet, and Canada, as usual, has the jump on us. Montreal's "Impulse" art installation put thirty see-saws on the streets that light up and make musical harmonies when they're used. It's a really cool idea (as you can see above; more photos at the link) on display this winter.
This isn't the first time Canada has done cool outdoor design things during winter. Winnipeg (of the -12ºC temperatures) works with designers to place warming huts on some of its skating parks. There's some cool designs from the five years they've been doing this.
