Plectrum (n., PLEK-truhm)

A small, thin piece of a firm material used to pluck the strings of a musical instrument. It is sometimes called a pick because advertising "[Band Name] plectrum" sounds like you're selling an internal organ—and not the kind you'd find in a church.

Bulldozer battle on Chinese streets

China's economy has hit the skids recently, making work scarce. Two construction companies were vying for a contract with a company and decided to settle it like adults with bulldozers right in front of the company whose business they were trying to win. Bonkers. And not a great strategy either. But great internet fodder!
