How a movie's sound effects are made
Gary Hecker is a foley artist. He makes the sounds in movies—and more than you would think. In this fascinating video, you get to see him at work, creating and layering sounds for Robin Hood:
We're always suckers for "people at work" videos, especially ones where there's so much creativity involved. It's crazy to see how much Hecker has to make for the film and how different the sounds and the items used to make them are. The magic of movies, I guess.
