An act involving adventure, daring, risk, or excitement! Like the curves of an s, an escapade does not follow the normal path. This is what we have escapades and not icapades.

The US Bicentennial logo
In honor of the election, let's all take a moment to remember one of the best logos of all time, the US Bicentennial logo from 1976:
The logo was designed by Bruce N. Blackburn, who also designed the famous NASA "worm" logo. There's a good chunk of the logo's standards manual available online too. It's worth perusing, especially if you're into design.
