Word of the Day

Inundate (v., IN-un-DATE)

To overwhelm with something, especially flooding with water, like when the world's best detective agency decides to live-tweet every single case they're trying to solve at once and starts commenting back and forth with each other and suddenly you're invested too and you're waiting for them to slow down because you know that if you walk away now, when you come back, there will be 258 notifications in the last hour and there's no way you'll be able to catch up and suddenly eighty minutes have passed and you're thinking, "Don't you people have lives, and even if you don't, I'll volunteer to do all your paperwork if you'll let me leave the room and channel?"
