Self-deploying structures from Ten Fold Engineering
A UK-based engineering and design firm has come up with a crazy self-deploying home. These two gifs might be useful:
The structures are energy efficient and provide up to 729 square feet when opened (this model). Many parts of the design can be reconfigured, so it's not hard to see a home being built by stacking a bunch of these together.
