Everything Changes - Secret Lives of Emoji
One of the more offbeat and fun ideas from Everything Changes was their Secret Lives of Emoji series. An illustrative example is this one:
She would always show up at the same time to flamenco night: 8pm every second Thursday.
No matter the weather, The Woman With No Hands never wore a coat. Even when it was 27 degrees in February in this burnt-out western edge of Detroit, she wore no wrap or cover.
She never looked cold. Her face a blank, she would never really betray any feeling at all.
In she would stride in her red dress - a halter, true red, with layers of skirt to flourish - and every second Thursday we all fell a little bit more in love with her.
The Woman With No Hands danced with intention, as if she were proving something to someone. We never found out who, or her name. We never even heard her voice. We imagined it would match the rest of her: red.
