This aerial photograph of Edinburgh from the 1920s is pretty crazy:
The person who took the photograph was Alfred Buckham, an aerial photography pioneer. Buckham crashed nine times and was declared "one hundred percent disabled" at one point. Still, he continued to daringly venture into the sky for photos like these.
