Richard Beale lived in the 18th century, but he was a teenager just like the rest of us. When doing his math homework, he doodled, including a couple drawings of the family dog. The Museum of English Rural Life found his drawings during a random unarchiving and posted them in a thread on Twitter. We've posted a few highlights, but click the first one to see more:
