This is a terrific, tearjerking short:
Wow. All the feels. There's a lot of people clamoring for a post-credits scene showing the two together. I don't think that's right for this story. The point of the film is the sacrifice. We can see what it cost the dinosaur. By the end, we have a deeper appreciation for why the fox is going to keep picking up those needles and figuring out how to make it work. It's going to take a while, yes. But we know he won't stop until it happens. He's learned a weighty lesson. So have we.
Here's to the dinos. May we all develop those instincts.
