A sign for displaying in a public place. Some are on walls. Others are fixed to doors. Still others are handed out. Poster, plaque, still the same thing: made you look.

A View From My Seat

Every so often, we like to feature useful websites. We look at them like the odd-angle spanner you have in your toolbox. When you need it, you need it, and nothing can quite replace it.

A View From My Seat is a correctly-named website. If you go to a venue for a sporting event, concert, speech, whatever, and take a photo of the event from your seat, you can upload it to the site. You'll tag it to where you were, and maybe put a comment in. Then, anyone considering buying tickets from that venue can browse the photos and see if they want to buy the ticket. It's a terrific way to see if there are any obstructed view seats or if a seat might work better for one type of event vs. another. We've used it to help pick from a few different seats at an arena.

A View From My Seat is a worthy thing to use when considering a ticket purchase. Go check it out.
