I would have a hard time not showing 150,000 photos that I've taken, but that's what Vivian Mayer did. A nanny and self-taught photographer, she snapped photos of city life but hid them until an estate sale revealed them after her death. Although there's been a documentary and interest in her black-and-white work, her color photography hasn't been as prominent. Colossal had a small selection of these photos:
