Tobias Friedrich's split photos show above and below water without tricks
Normally, if you want to show a photo that looks both above and below the waterline, you will end up doing some digital stitching. Tobias Friedrich, unsatisfied with this arrangement, built his own rig that captures an image both above and below the waterline simultaneously. He's taken it around the world, with terrific results:
