Airport codes and their meanings
Ever wonder why each airport has the code it does? Sure, many of them correspond to the cities that they're in (PHiLadelphia) and others relate to the name of the airport (La GuardiA) but why does the Louisville International Airport have a code of SDF?
Lynn Fisher and Nick Crohn have made a cool site that shows the reason for each airport's code, a photo of the airport (sorry, a GORGEOUS photo of each airport) and a quick fact about the airport. It's a fun browse.
