Gamut (n., gahm-UHTT)

The complete range of something, especially a series of notes. This makes no sense because "gamut" only goes from A to T and those two letters are next to each other. Where's the full gamut of letters? Why aren't they in that word? English, you're slipping.

Lagoon tables

So, so cool. Alexandre Chapelin of LA Table made these "lagoon tables" out of cut marble and a few layers of colored resin. There's more of his work on his Facebook page but the tables, to our minds, are in a class by themselves.
