Stupid, trivial, andchildish. If someone snickers while pronouncing this word as poo-rile, they are your example. We're far above such crappy humor.

So...NASA might have broken physics. Seriously.
NASA just published a peer-reviewed paper about their freaky EM drive. EM stands for Electromagnetic, and it's a propulsion system that doesn't use fuel. It bounces microwaves back and forth inside a conical metal cavity to create thrust. Correction: a crazy amount of thrust. Like, go to Mars in only 70 days crazy.
But it just might break the universe.
Newton's third law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction (see: NFL head coaching changes). But the EM drive doesn't do this. It should push something out the other way. It doesn't. And it still works and keeps working.
There's still a lot to figure out, as today's link details. The EM drive is still very much in "exploration" phase. But still: NASA might've broken physics and made a hyperefficient engine. Pretty cool.
