The Dailies

Word of the Day

Didactic (adj., die-DACK-tick)

Intended to teach, but often in a way that has some kind of intent behind it. It's less about teaching and more about passing on a specific lesson for a specific reason. Like not just telling you the story of the blind men and the elephant but doing it in a way that hints that you're one of the blind men. Still haven't forgotten, Jillian.
