Word of the Day
Quagmire (n., KWAG-mire)
A muddy, squishy part of land, or a difficult situation. It looks ok, but two steps and you're waist-deep, unable to get out unless someone with really good deadlifting ability pulls you out.

Seattle artist John Grade has created an art installation in a forest that collects rainwater and looks like a chandelier over the forest's floor. Five thousand clear droplets are attached to translucent nets and collect the water as it falls. As the sculpture gains water, it increases up to 800 pounds, dramatically drooping.
There's a lot more interesting details and photos about the installation over at Colossal. You can also find more of Grade's work at his website or by following him on Instagram.
